It can be so (recommended for small mainframe computers) that the difference between small mainframe and large mainframe is: [All in one Triumph 3] Intranet penetration, file sorting, and earning electricity bills,
Author: calfo is here to fill in the hole in the previous article, and report my actual test results in the last eight days to you. This article mainly talks about intranet penetration, NAS file collation, and the use of idle bandwidth to earn electricity bills. In the first article, I said that my all in one is based on WIN11, so the idea of overall remote control at that time was to use remote desktop tools to complete it. I tried anydesk, todesk Sunflower, teamviewer, and other remote desktop tools are relatively smooth in overall use, while others are relatively sluggish, and the desktop resolution and image quality are very poor, but the file transfer speed of sunflower is also appalling.
So this remote desktop solution has been wandering in the stage of barely usable, and then changed its thinking. Instead of using remote desktop, it used intranet penetration. First, I tried to build FRPS myself. Because of my VPS reason, this solution is to do the web page management of nas. What’s enough, and it involves file transmission. Watching jellyfin’s video outside is completely useless.
Then I used the ddnsto service again. I have to say that this service is enough for most players, and the configuration is very simple. Moreover, if it is not used very heavily, the bandwidth of 4Mb is also sufficient. I sincerely recommend that friends who do not want to make trouble but want to achieve simple intranet penetration try it. The important point is that under the very low cost of it, you can still pay for it.
But this is not enough for me. After all, I have file transfer requirements. By chance, I learned about Zerotier. My understanding is that this thing is actually a VPN, but it can realize p2p direct connection. My usage test results are as follows:

In fact, it should be stable within more than ten milliseconds. I don’t know whether my mobile phone has been fluctuating between tens and hundreds of milliseconds because of the 4G signal test of my mobile phone. The broadband I upload is 50Mb. After this scheme, the overall intranet penetration has become very practical. Just like the experience of using the LAN, watching video, Copying files (because my ALL in one is based on win11, after using this solution, I can directly mount the hard disk of my small host on my office computer, and I feel very happy). Remote desktop, internal network management, and file transfer are very smooth.
Finally, the installation and use of zerotier is very simple. There are four steps: 1. Register an account; 2. Create a virtual LAN and obtain the network ID; 3. Download the client and join the virtual LAN (network ID);
4. Connect to the network and start using it (the free version supports the access of 100 devices, which is completely sufficient for normal personal use, and because it is a P2P direct connection, there is no need for traffic to go around the server. The natural delay and bandwidth only depend on your network uplink bandwidth!).
Basically, the above steps are very simple. I don’t have any network knowledge and there is no threshold to use it. Here is also a small hole I stepped on when I used it. My network topology started with the optical cat dialing, the LAN interface connected to the routing wan interface, and all devices connected to the Internet through routing. In this topology, no P2P direct connection has been successful, Later, I changed the optical cat to the bridge mode (contact the broadband operator to modify it), dialed directly by the route, and the p2p direct connection succeeded. The general network topology is as follows.

File collation The file collation mentioned here mainly refers to the video file collation in Nas. As mentioned in my first tossing article, in order to ensure a good search effect, I need to have a relatively standard name for the downloaded video file. Previously, I used to manually archive and rename after downloading, but this is very troublesome and increases the workload.
It’s still a coincidence that I learned about nasools, which is really great, but I don’t want to talk about it in detail. It seems that the developers don’t want to spread it widely. Please search for it yourself. It’s really a magic weapon that earns electricity. It’s actually a joke. In the previous article, I said that the standby power consumption of my small host is about 14W, roughly calculated as 20W, The power consumption of a day is 0.48 kilowatt-hours, and the electricity bill is about 30 cents per day. My expectation for this thing is to earn back the 30 cents.
Just when I saw that there was a mobile phone treasure, I took the one plus three that had been idle for a long time and tried it for a week. The general situation is as follows: the first seven days of installation were in the deployment period, and there was basically no revenue. The revenue began to be generated yesterday, and the traffic volume was about 10G a day. Yesterday’s revenue was just 30 cents, which was the same as the electricity charge of the small host. The process of hanging up was basically insensitive, and the game was also not affected.
First hang up and then report the situation to everyone. Finally, life goes on and on Later, I will report to you again.
